The Graphic Design Specialist is responsible for the execution and management of consistent, clear, and impactful creative assets that support the Rogers' brand and organizational initiatives. Under the direction of the Web Development and Graphic Design Supervisor, this individual creates a variety of branded visual assets including print collateral, website assets, advertisements, email templates, and other branded materials. This role also provides email marketing design and execution support. He/she will use a combination of creative, design, and technology skills to edit photography and designed templates, participate in photoshoots, manage digital assets, and serve as a collaborative partner with internal teams, external vendors, and agency partners. In collaboration with the Web Development and Graphic Design Supervisor, the Graphic Design Specialist will assist in the creation of visually appealing design solutions for internal and external marketing and communications projects. This includes collateral such as brochures, posters, banners, fliers, and invitations, as well as advertising in both print and digital formats. The specialist will also work on social media graphics, e-newsletters, email campaigns, website graphics, templated materials, conference materials, and specialty items including promotional items and t-shirts. Participation in brainstorming sessions to generate creative ideas and concepts is also a key aspect of this role. The specialist will edit and retouch images to enhance visual quality and apply an understanding of design techniques and principles to assist in the creation of quality visual assets. This includes knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design within graphic standards. Under the supervision of department leadership, the specialist will collaborate and coordinate projects on behalf of Rogers with external printers, mail houses, ad agencies, freelance graphic artists, photographers, and others as needed. Additionally, the specialist will manage updates to existing materials and oversee materials for Rogers' online print store, support the scheduling and coordination of headshots, and assist with on-location photoshoots. Cataloging and managing photo assets for the department, including the development of a digital asset management tool, is also part of the responsibilities. The Graphic Design Specialist will partner with the Web Development and Graphic Design Supervisor and department leadership to manage brand consistency and salience across the organization, maintain graphic standards in all communications, and assist with updates to brand identity and architecture. In partnership with team members, the specialist will assist in the management of email campaigns and related databases, design templates, publish email campaigns, monitor campaign stats, and recommend adjustments. The role requires managing multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines, and project requirements while working cooperatively with the marketing and communications team to effectively design and produce materials. Receiving and implementing feedback from team members and the internal audience to refine designs and achieve desired outcomes is also essential.
