About The Position

This internship is a full-time, 12-week program (40 hours per week) running from May through August. Interns will gain hands-on professional experience by contributing to meaningful projects that have a direct impact on the business. The program will conclude with a presentation to the senior leadership team, highlighting both the project outcomes and the overall internship experience. Throughout the summer, interns will also gain broad exposure to the organization and its operations. The corporate marketing graphic design intern will gain vital experience learning and working with a fast-paced corporate marketing team. This paid internship is your chance to dive into exciting projects, help us win new business, and provide elevated marketing services to different departments within our organization. You will gain insight into the creative efforts of a dynamic marketing department. You'll have the opportunity to be a part of the initial process of a creative project and be able to see the project all the way through to its final stages. Experience is Everything. Requirements

  • Currently in a graphic design, marketing, or comparable program
  • Ability to multitask with an awareness for timing and urgency
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, collaborative, and responsive
  • Ability to problem solve and follow art direction
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with particular strength in Photoshop and InDesign
  • High level of competency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • A portfolio demonstrating expertise in design with applications in branding, marketing and corporate communications, if possible

Nice To Haves

  • Skills in Motion design and After Effects and/or HTML/CSS a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provides support to corporate marketing and community marketing teams
  • Develop and design clean and effective graphic templates, PowerPoints and guides
  • Optimize digital images for responsive design
  • Assist with conceptualizing and crafting beautiful brand campaigns
  • Prioritize a workload of multiple projects from concept to completion
  • Present concepts and creative ideas to internal creative team
