About The Position

The Graphic Design Assistant supports the graphic designer in creating and maintaining digital and printed materials for various departments within Trinity Repertory Company. This role involves ensuring brand consistency, developing templates, and assisting in the production of marketing collateral, while working under the guidance of the Director of Marketing & Communications.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of experience in graphic design and illustration, branding, and digital content management.
• Strong aesthetic sense and knowledge of layout, typography, color, branding, and print production.
• Excellent attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal clients and handle vendor interactions.
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Illustrator, with experience in Photoshop and Acrobat preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Asana for project management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain visual branding guidelines and ensure proper use of the organization's logo and visual identity elements.
• Develop and maintain templates for brand alignment across the organization.
• Layout existing assets for social media, flyers, brochures, advertisements, and other marketing materials.
• Occasionally create original key art for educational programs and productions.
• Occasionally create sub-branding for community engagement initiatives.
• Retouch, resize, crop, and manipulate photos for various digital platforms.
