As a SBA, Economically Disadvantaged Woman-Owned Small Business, 8(a) business development program participant, and Small Disadvantaged Business headquartered in Alexandria, VA, we are seeking a Graphic Design Analyst to work in the Ft. Belvoir, VA area. The Graphic Design Analyst will provide Visual Information (VI) support to the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Strategic Initiatives Office (SIG). This role involves applying data research visual summaries and interactive visualizations, providing on-site graphics support, technical assistance, and creating briefings and documents that enhance and convey DLA's message and image. The ideal candidate will possess intrinsic knowledge and experience in independently creating graphic and layout designs, visual and print presentations, and utilizing infographics and typography. The deliverables produced will convey DLA's strategic mission across the Agency, the Department of Defense (DoD), the federal Government, and to the public. It is essential for the Graphic Design Analyst to be innovative and capable of communicating a succinct, impactful message visually. A portfolio of previous work will be required. Key responsibilities include collaborating with SIG and senior staff to explore graphic design options for effective communication in presentation environments, supporting multimedia and electronic imagery requirements, generating presentations that visually depict information for the DLA Director, and developing various graphic materials such as charts, briefings, slide presentations, brochures, and interactive multimedia productions. The analyst will also implement quality control procedures, maintain project status, and ensure timely completion of work while adhering to DLA's quality assurance checks. Additionally, the role involves leading conceptual graphic discussions and producing graphics for informative and instructional materials, including technical articles and reports. Weekly meetings will be attended to maintain project status and communication.
