About the position

The Graphic Communications Sales Executive is responsible for spearheading RICOH's penetration and expansion in the key Graphic Communications Vertical through the development of a targeted customer strategy. This includes customer segmentation, awareness activities, and relationship building. The role involves evangelizing new inkjet technology and consulting with business owners and senior executives on the advantages of new technology to gain new revenue and reduce costs. The executive will develop effective ROI for the solutions offered and is responsible for business development within the assigned territory. They will manage, protect, and develop the territory base by analyzing and developing solutions for new and existing customer business communication requirements, delivering, installing, and supporting strategies, products, and equipment within the assigned territory. Meeting or exceeding revenue targets and gross profit expectations is essential, along with preparing effective briefings and presenting winning proposals and value propositions to account assignments. The executive will also take ownership of resolving any ongoing workflow or technical issues with customers in conjunction with Professional Service and Customer Service personnel, maintain records of all account activity within Ricoh-provided sales database and CRM tool, and serve as the first line of contact with clients in the creation and maintenance of accurate paperwork on each sale.

Requirements

  • 4-year college degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of business-to-business sales experience.
  • 1-2 years of advanced selling of high-volume printers, preferably continuous feed and inkjet.
  • Deep sales experience in the Graphic Communications vertical.
  • Demonstrated ability to sell in complex, consultative-based engagements.
