About The Position

Duties and responsibilities as presented are intended to be representative and not restrictive. The District reserves the right to modify the assignment and allocation of duties in accordance with operational needs. May be asked to teach days, evenings, hybrid/online and in the dual enrollment program. Online/hybrid teaching requires additional campus-based training. Examples of essential functions are interpreted as being descriptive and not restrictive in nature.

Requirements

  • Any Bachelor’s degree or higher AND two years of professional experience directly related to the faculty’s teaching assignment OR Any Associate degree AND six years of professional experience directly related to the faculty member’s teaching assignment OR Possess a valid California teaching credential authorizing service in a community college in the appropriate subject matter area
  • Commitment to diversity.

  • Demonstrated success in helping arts students from historically underrepresented and/or marginalized groups, nontraditional students, speakers of other languages, and students with learning disabilities.
