About The Position

Revolution is now hiring a experienced Graphic Artist in Kilgore, TX. Here is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for a challenging opportunity with a growing company. Provides artwork / printing support to the Sales Force. Informs the sales force, customers, and potential customers regarding the resolution of issues that affect printing of products. Creates and produces creative and quality graphic design artwork to support advertising and sales promotion efforts to meet other organization needs utilizing current graphic design technology. Originates or modifies design, art and copy layouts for Customer’s products. Operate platemaking equipment and proof plates for accurate customer expectations on finished product. Maintains office records, plate production and scrap logs. Place orders for raw material needs. Receives art files from Sales and Customers. Confirms file validity to reproduce print copy. Prepares promotional items and bag mockups for customer approvals. Prepares e-proofs for customer approval and production departments. Works with ink technician, plate mounters and press operators to track the progress in the accomplishment of reproducing print copy of new items. Provides art graphics for advertisements, sales promotions, and public relations material for visual communications media. Completes assignments within established time schedules and in accordance with quality standards. Operates platemaking equipment. Notify of preventive maintenance schedule on platemaking equipment. Proof plates for accuracy. Cut / trim plates. Provide training for backup.

Requirements

Computer skills
Good Communication skills to inform and collaborate with customers
Perform mathematical calculations
Be attentive to detail to proof text and color
Troubleshoot print problems
Able to lift 50lbs
High School diploma minimum
Knowledge of Adobe PhotoShop and Illustrator program
Experience with Mac and PC computer
Familiar with ESKO program (pilot & shuttle)
1 year experience in printing technology or related area

Nice To Haves

Preferred experience with Dupont machinery
