About The Position

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to support a wide range of visual design needs across marketing, communications, and program initiatives. This role also includes supporting retail merchandising and product development, contributing to a cohesive and engaging brand experience across both digital and physical spaces. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, values brand consistency, and enjoys bringing ideas to life through thoughtful, engaging design.

Requirements

  • Strong eye for brand consistency across multiple platforms and environments
  • Solid understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy
  • Creative thinking and concept development skills
  • Ability to incorporate feedback and iterate efficiently
  • High attention to detail and strong aesthetic judgment
  • Interest in or exposure to retail merchandising and strategic visualization
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Canva
  • Knowledge of digital and print design, including file preparation and production standards
  • Familiarity with designing for both digital and physical formats (signage, print materials)
  • Basic understanding of UI/UX principles
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Collaborative mindset and effective communication skills
  • Positive attitude and strong team alignment
  • Problem-solving mindset and willingness to take initiative
  • Evidence of a growing relationship with Christ
  • Awareness and desire to deploy his/her spiritual gift(s) in this ministry

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in marketing, communications, or nonprofit environments
  • Exposure to retail merchandising or product development
  • Experience designing for both digital platforms and physical environments

Responsibilities

  • Marketing & Campaign Support Design assets for marketing initiatives, including retention, referral, and new audience campaigns
  • Develop creative concepts that align with brand strategy and organizational goals
  • Communications Design Create visual materials to support communications with parents and families (email headers, informational handouts, digital graphics)
  • Translate information into clear, visually engaging, and on-brand designs
  • Events, Camps & Program Support Design graphics for events, camps, retreats, and development initiatives
  • Produce signage, promotional materials, and seasonal assets
  • Retail & Merchandising Support Assist in merchandising the retail space through thoughtful visual presentation
  • Contribute to brainstorming and development of product lines and branded merchandise
  • Help maintain brand consistency across retail and physical environments
