Granulation Process Lead
About The Position
Under limited supervision participate in mixing, milling, granulating and drying processes. Coordinate all activities with the shift supervisor. Keep accurate documentation and assure all employee follow Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) as well as safety practices. Assign priorities too job orders. Utilize a variety of resources in order to properly update products. Assure proper training is provided for machine operation including proper safety training. Lead weekly meetings to address production improvement, safety concerns and allowing each employee to contribute to the overall success of the team. Track employees absenteeism and counsel when and if necessary Write employee appraisals utilizing proper Threshold procedure. Assure that any rework material meets the proper specificationpay close attention to limiting waste. Assure the timely completion of tablets, capsules and powder formulations Assure that all GMPs are followed and that all employees are properly trained. Perform all other tasks assigned by Threshold management.
Requirements
- Must be able to speak and write both in English and Spanish
- Must have or currently attending a Leadership training and be on an active Leadership Team
- Must have worked in the area for minimum six months and know how to operate each piece of equipment
- Must be available for overtime including but not limited to Saturdays
- High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
Nice To Haves
- Formal Technical understanding of manufacturing process
- Previous experience as a mechanic (auto or other)
