About The Position

The Grants & Stewardship Officer at Georgian Court University plays a crucial role in supporting the goals of the AVP of Development by managing corporate, foundation, and government grants. This position is responsible for donor stewardship and engagement, ensuring compliance with donor agreements, and assisting in the preparation of grant applications and reports. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a higher education institution or non-profit
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in maintaining a donor database
• Experience providing administrative support
• Basic understanding of online research
• Knowledge of fundraising or related field

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in a university or similar organization
• Experience in advancement or customer service-related positions
• Experience using Raiser's Edge or other CRM software
• Knowledge of research search engines (Foundation Search)

Responsibilities

• Research and compile information for donor impact reports and compliance.
• Utilize donor database (RE7 and NXT) to track pre- and post-award compliance and maintain accurate data.
• Assist in preparing and submitting corporate and foundation letters of interest and proposals.
• Support corporate sponsorship solicitation for annual events.
• Research and identify new funding opportunities.
• Attend and assist team members at events.
• Provide administrative support to the AVP.
