About The Position

We are seeking an Independent Contractor to collaborate with our Global Policy & Advocacy team on FIFA GC Education Fund Programming. This opportunity is perfect for a motivated and experienced professional to contribute to Global Citizen's mission. The contractor would complete the following deliverables starting February 2026 and ending June 15, 2026. Objective: This position provides essential grantmaking and program support to the VP, Education Fund Programming across a number of key areas.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with AI tools to work smarter, drive impact, improve workflows, analyze information, and enhance communication.
  • Program Management: Ability to implement and support multi-country, multi-regional grant programs
  • Communication & Relationship Management: Skilled in managing daily interactions and written correspondences with grantees, coordinating with donors, and providing support for stakeholder engagements.
  • Administrative & Oversight Skills: Competence in overseeing the grant application review process, grant tracking, and reporting.
  • Analytical Acumen: Capacity for proposal evaluation, enforcement of eligibility criteria, and conducting due diligence.
  • Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Knowledge: Ability to assist in the development of the M&E process.
  • Internal & External Coordination: Strong organizational skills, ability to coordinate and schedule meetings with various internal departments.

Responsibilities

  • Grant Program Oversight: Implement grant programs, ensuring they align with the Education Fund's fundraising, policy, and advocacy objectives.
  • Grantee Relations: Manage daily interactions with grantees, including proposal evaluation, enforcement of eligibility criteria, due diligence, and impact monitoring.
  • Grant Administration: Oversee the application review process, grant tracking, reporting, and all related correspondence with grantees.
  • Stakeholder & Donor Coordination: Support meetings, engagements, and correspondence with donors, working closely with the Business Development (BD) team.
  • External Partnerships: Manage the relationship with Foundation Source.
  • Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E): Assist in the development of the M&E process and management of related consultants.
  • Internal Coordination: Coordinate and schedule meetings with other Global Citizen (GC) departments as needed for the Education Fund's work.
  • Reviewer Panel Management: Provide support to various reviewer panels, including GC internal reviewers, independent reviewers, and the Education Fund Oversight Advisory Board.
  • Portfolio Management: Assist in the overall oversight of the grant portfolio
