About The Position
The Grants Manager will oversee both pre- and post-award processes for grants at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine (WVSOM). The position will ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations, and support the research mission of WVSOM by managing financials, coordinating grant proposals, overseeing grant compliance, and training faculty and staff. This role reports to the Associate Dean of Research and Sponsored Programs and supports the Office of Business Affairs with financial reporting of grant activity. This is a full-time non-classified position and is exempt from FLSA provisions regarding overtime. Base salary commensurate with education and experience, full state benefits. This position has been designated as essential. This means that when WVSOM is faced with an institutional emergency, employees in such positions may be required to remain at their work location or to report to work to protect, recover and continue operations at WVSOM.
