About The Position

The Grants Manager plays a vital role in advancing ASYMCA’s mission through strategic fundraising. This position leads grant prospecting, proposal development, and stewardship to secure funding and deliver mission-critical programs. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting military families.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 - 7 years of relevant experience in grant writing, fundraising, or grants management required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking capabilities, with precision and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in grant databases and CRM systems (e.g., Virtuous, Blackbaud, DonorPerfect, Instrumental).
  • Budget development and financial management skills.
  • Passion for ASYMCA’s mission and commitment to making an impact.
  • Self-driven, collaborative, and resilient in fast-paced environments.
  • High sense of integrity, professionalism, and discretion.
  • Ability to travel as needed for site visits or meetings (up to 25%)
  • Flexibility to attend events outside standard business hours.
  • Successful completion of background check.
