About The Position

The Grants Manager plays a vital role in advancing ASYMCA’s mission through strategic fundraising. This position leads grant prospecting, proposal development, and stewardship to secure funding and deliver mission-critical programs. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting military families.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 - 7 years of relevant experience in grant writing, fundraising, or grants management required.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field preferred.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and multi-tasking capabilities, with precision and attention to detail.
Proficiency in grant databases and CRM systems (e.g., Virtuous, Blackbaud, DonorPerfect, Instrumental).
Budget development and financial management skills.
Passion for ASYMCA’s mission and commitment to making an impact.
Self-driven, collaborative, and resilient in fast-paced environments.
High sense of integrity, professionalism, and discretion.
Ability to travel as needed for site visits or meetings (up to 25%)
Flexibility to attend events outside standard business hours.
Successful completion of background check.
