About The Position

The Grants Manager for Adult and Career & Technical Education is a pivotal role responsible for the development and management of grant proposals and budgets that align with the strategic goals of the institution. This position requires a strong background in grant writing and administration, particularly within the context of higher education or nonprofit organizations. The Grants Manager will work closely with Faculty Chairs and program staff to ensure that grant-funded projects are executed effectively, adhering to financial guidelines and timelines. This role also involves maintaining a detailed grant database and preparing regular financial and narrative reports to ensure compliance with funder requirements. In this position, the Grants Manager will be tasked with crafting detailed grant narratives that not only meet the requirements of funders but also align with the programmatic goals of the institution. This includes coordinating with program staff to gather relevant data and evidence to support grant proposals, as well as monitoring grant budgets throughout the project lifecycle. The Grants Manager will provide regular budget reports to administrators and faculty chairs, ensuring transparency and accountability in the use of grant funds. Additionally, the Grants Manager will assist in the annual audit process, maintaining rigorous compliance with organizational standards.
