About The Position
Under the general supervision of the Grants Development Officer, the Grants Development Trainee will learn to perform increasingly complex grants development duties. The Trainee must also provide high quality customer service to both internal and external groups. This is an entry-level Grants Development Trainee position located in the Finance Department where the Trainee will be employed so long as the trainee is pursuing and progressing in education and training requirements in conjunction with the Career Development Program. This position will lead to a career progression into a permanent full-time Grants Development Specialist position at a time to be determined based on the assessment of the CFO and the Grants Development Officer. In this position, the Grants Development Trainee will receive mentorship and training from Grants Development Officer & Senior Grants Writer to assist in the development of skills necessary to become a Grants Development Specialist.
