About The Position

This temporary position is located in 1636 Gold Star Drive- Wake County with the Department of Public Safety. Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $30.00 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application). Effective July 1, 2025, candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they have the minimum education and experience listed from the class specification. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, public administration, or a related discipline from an accredited institution or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Documented experience in the administration and/or management of federal and/or state grants.
  • Experience interpreting and/or applying state or federal laws, regulations, policies, procedures and/or guidance in the area of grants management.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar grants management software.
  • Experience in written and/or oral communication regarding federal and/or state non-disaster preparedness grant programs to stakeholders.
