The Grant Writer and Development Coordinator plays a key role in advancing UCHC’s fundraising and development goals. This position is responsible for researching and writing compelling grant proposals, supporting the submission of funding requests, and coordinating donor communication and stewardship activities. The Coordinator is also responsible for tracking and, in collaboration with the Senior Manager, managing awarded grants, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements, and supporting campaign planning and donor engagement efforts. The ideal candidate brings strong writing skills, attention to detail, and a desire to learn more about healthcare and public health systems. This role is well-suited for someone who wants to grow within the field of nonprofit development and is motivated by work that impacts communities historically excluded from care. This position will also serve as a member of the Development Committee once formally established. As such, occasional participation in board-related meetings, events, and community engagements outside of standard business hours may be expected. Pay Scale: $70,000- $80,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
