About The Position

The Grant Project Director is responsible for the development and administration of a grant, specifically the AlamoSUCCESS grant, which is Title III funded. This role includes hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating project staff, managing fiscal responsibilities, and developing project initiatives. The director will also act as a liaison to internal and external constituents and may provide direct services to grant participants, including college and high school students, faculty, staff, and community members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in relevant fields.
  • Two years of experience in grants management.
  • Experience working with disadvantaged students, particularly minorities and those from low socioeconomic backgrounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in education, counseling, sociology, social work, or a related field.
  • Three years of experience in grants management.
  • Experience working with disadvantaged students.
