The Grant Graduate Research Assistant will serve in a supporting role for the NSF EPSCoR DART education theme and is expected to help the project with scheduling and administration of meetings, conducting research, participating in data science teaching workshops across the state of Arkansas, collecting data, and other duties as assigned. The Graduate Research Assistant will be expected to have weekly touchpoint meetings with the education theme lead to update them on next steps needed for the project. In this role, the candidate will be expected to help drive initiatives, solve complex problems, and contribute to the overall success of the grant. The graduate research assistant will be required to comply with all federal and state guidelines as dictated by the NSF EPSCoR DART program. Some travel may be required throughout the course of this appointment. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
