The Grant Writer is responsible for independently managing a dedicated portfolio of private, corporate, and public grants. While most of the portfolio consists of private foundation and corporate funding, some public grant opportunities may also be included. This role leads the full lifecycle of assigned grants—including prospect research, proposal development, submission, reporting, compliance, and stewardship. The Grant Writer collaborates closely with the Director of Development & Communications, the Grants Manager, Finance, and Program teams to ensure proposals and reports are accurate, compelling, and aligned with organizational goals. The primary objective is to grow and sustain grant revenue through high-quality submissions and strong stewardship of funder relationships.
