About The Position

The Bridge is seeking a Grants Compliance Manager to provide strategic oversight of all post-award grant compliance, reporting, financial monitoring, and audit readiness functions for the Agency. Reporting to the Finance Director, this position ensures agency-wide compliance with federal, state, foundation and other funding requirements across all awarded grants and contracts. The Grants Compliance Manager oversees the full post-award lifecycle from award execution through closeout, mitigating compliance risk and strengthening internal monitoring systems to safeguard funding integrity and organizational accountability. Responsibilities include interpreting regulatory and contractual requirements (including Uniform Guidance where applicable), monitoring expenditures for allowability and budget compliance, overseeing preparation and submission of financial and programmatic reports, and coordinating responses to funder monitoring visits and audits. This role collaborates closely with program leadership and finance to ensure accurate data collection, performance tracking, and timely reporting. The Manager leads internal compliance reviews, establishes monitoring frameworks, supports audit readiness, and ensures compliant grant closeout processes. The Grants Compliance Manager provides supervision to compliance, reporting, and billing staff, and provides regular compliance updates to executive leadership.

Requirements

  • Associates degree; Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, Business Management or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • In lieu of educational requirements, must have GED/High School Diploma, plus one year’s experience in grant compliance.
  • Must pass criminal background investigation check
  • Must pass drug screen
  • Must provide and maintain current TX Driver’s License
  • Must provide and maintain clean driving record and annually update driving record
  • Must provide and maintain current auto liability insurance
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S
  • Must be able to lift/carry (40) lbs, and ascend/descend stairs in emergency shelter setting.
