  • Serve as the primary administrator of the Kuali Research system for TU's sponsored project activity.
  • Update and maintain the Kuali system, ensuring all records related to proposals, awards, and compliance entries are accurate and compliant.
  • Conduct regular reviews and audits of Kuali Research data to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for Kuali Research, troubleshooting issues and providing guidance to colleagues.
  • Handle sensitive and privileged information with tact and discretion.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between TU and developers.
  • Liaise with financial services in award setup in Towson University's financial systems.
  • Utilize Kuali Research's reporting tools to generate routine and custom reports for proposal and award activity, compliance tracking, and performance metrics.
  • Analyze data from Kuali Research to identify trends, potential issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare data and reports for senior and executive stakeholders and external entities, including the NSF HERD survey.
  • Act as a liaison between faculty, administrative staff, and funding agencies.
  • Facilitate communication regarding grant processes, deadlines, and compliance requirements to faculty and leadership.
  • Provide training and support to enhance user proficiency with research administration tools.
  • Advise OSPR leadership regarding policies, trends, and interpretation of data and program needs.
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Word, Excel).
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to learn new software systems.
  • Knowledge of research administration principles.
