About The Position
The University of North Carolina Wilmington is seeking a University Program Specialist to serve as a Grant Administrator within the College of Health and Human Services. This position is part of the Research and Innovation core support team, which collaborates with UNCW's Sponsored Program and Research Compliance office. The primary purpose of this role is to support faculty and staff in their research and innovation efforts by providing pre-award and post-award grant support, statistical support, editing support, and fostering new collaborations. The Grant Administrator will manage a portfolio of grants and internal awards, oversee budgets and expenditures, and ensure compliance with grant terms.
