Throughout the mid-west and south, we have cabinet design showrooms and granite countertop fabrication shops with state-of-the-art fabricating and install equipment. Sims-Lohman is hiring granite fabricators, or general laborers with a willingness to learn a new trade to work on 1st shift! This position is 1st shift 6:30am-3:00pm Monday-Friday MUST BE OKAY WITH WORKING OVERTIME! Starting Pay Rate: $20.00/hr Why come work at Sims-Lohman? Requirements

Must have a demonstrated GOOD Attendance record
1+ years experience polishing countertops
Ability to use a variety of hand tools including grinders
Ability to read shop drawings and use a tape measure
Ability to work with heavy weight materials
Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen
Do you have at least one year of experience in Construction, working with Hand Tools, working in Manufacturing, Working in Granite, or as a Machine Operator?

Nice To Haves

Ability to operate machinery is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

Trim, scrape or polish countertops or parts, using hand grinders and other manufacturing equipment
Verify quality of finished countertops by inspecting them, comparing them to templates or measuring their dimension
Run equipment
