About The Position

The position involves taking beverage orders from restaurant customers and inputting them into the POS system. Responsibilities include delivering orders while adhering to required standards, preparing tableside items as requested, and anticipating guests' needs. The role also requires completing side work such as wiping down stations and restocking supplies, polishing silver, buffing glasses, and setting up service carts. Additionally, the employee must explain the menu to guests, answer their questions, and consistently check on the quality of food and service to ensure excellent guest service.

Requirements

  • Previous restaurant experience preferred.
  • Ability to deal with customers and co-workers in a tactful and respectful manner.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
  • Ability to interpret and follow through on a variety of instructions.
  • Excellent time management, problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekends.
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Dedicated to meeting and/or exceeding the expectations of clients.
  • Trusted and seen as a truthful individual who is respectful of others.
  • Consistently exhibits courteous, respectful, and appropriate communications.

Responsibilities

  • Take beverage orders from restaurant customers and input orders into POS system.
  • Deliver orders following required standards for the position.
  • Prepare tableside items as requested by customer; anticipate guest's needs.
  • Complete all side work including but not limited to: wiping down stations, re-stocking supplies, etc.
  • Polish silver, buff glasses, set-up service cart, etc. in order to prepare tables and stations.
  • Breakdown stations, carts and tables at close of restaurant.
  • Explain menu to the guests and answer any questions they may have.
  • Always check on quality of food and service to ensure excellent guest service.
