About The Position

In this role, you will work with a passionate and talented Food & Beverage team to drive excellence in guest experience and the overall success of the Grana Restaurant by delivering high standards in guest experience and colleague engagement while aligning with the culture and values of Langham Hospitality Group.

Requirements

  • Use verbal communication effectively to perform work i.e. speaking with guests, understanding guests, coworkers.
  • Make minor decisions requiring logical judgment, i.e. task sequencing.
  • Must have related previous experience in similar environment.
  • Demonstrate team playing skills at all times.
  • Have positive attitude and set example among colleagues.
  • Stand; reach; grasp; lift/carry up to 30 pounds; walk; kneel; squat/bend; push/pull.
  • Reacts well and remains in control when working with high volume under pressure.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must have full availability to work restaurant hours of operation; AM shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Serves food per established procedures in a timely, efficient and friendly manner.
  • Respond to guest requests appropriately, report comments to manager.
  • Provide maximum levels of guest service while maintaining Brand standards.
  • Maintains cleanliness of each table in each section of the restaurant.
  • Attend monthly department meeting and provide trainings.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work area.
  • Complete assigned daily side work.
  • Stock station including: glassware, flatware, china and napkins.
  • Greet guests, refill waters.
  • Clear dirty dishes/glasses from table after each course.
  • Reset tables as necessary per established procedures.
  • Brew ice tea, coffee, replenish bottled waters.
  • Assist the kitchen in setting and breaking down service station.
  • Bring dirty linen to laundry and pick up clean linen.
  • Assist Servers as needed.
