About The Position

Heritage Cooperative is seeking a friendly, outgoing, customer-service driven individual to join their team as a Grain Superintendent. Requirements

  • Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when needed
  • Willingness to work various weather elements including cold, heat, wind, rain, etc.
  • Ability to frequently stand and/or walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or carry heavy objects no more than 50 pounds
  • Outstanding Organizational and Time-Management Skills
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Respectable Mechanical Skills

Nice To Haves

  • Valid Driver’s License, with acceptable driving record
  • Class A or B CDL with DOT Medical Certificate
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Previous Grain Experience

  • Maintain equipment and facilities in a neat, clean, safe and environmental sound condition
  • Monitor equipment to ensure it is in good working order, participate in the overall maintenance of the facility and equipment
  • Operate safely within Heritage Cooperative policy, procedures, and governmental regulations
  • Other grain handling including but not limited to, filling /reclaiming of ground piles, transferring, etc.
  • Perform critical operations to keep facility running such as loading/unloading trucks and railcars
  • Other duties as assigned by your supervisor
