The primary purpose of this position is to operate conveyance equipment to move grain to and from storage. This includes setting up, controlling, adjusting, and feeding grain into semi-automated machines and equipment. The role also involves unloading and loading trucks, shipping containers, and rail cars with grain. Additionally, the operator will be responsible for maintaining good housekeeping standards, assisting with minor repairs, and utilizing hand tools as necessary. A basic understanding of computer systems is required to run scales and enter data accurately.
