About The Position

The duties of this hands-on job will include grain receiving, storage, handling, drying, blending, and loading of grain; monitoring stored grain condition; unloading liquid fertilizer from railcars and loading the same into truck tanker trailers; and maintaining and cleaning grain facilities and equipment to provide a safe environment for you and fellow Team Members. Grain Elevator Operators will be cross-trained to perform a variety of tasks.

Requirements

  • Able to travel to Healy KS and Towner CO to assist with train loading and other projects, as needed
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Reliable transportation
  • For safety reasons, must be able to read, write, understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English
  • Available to work overtime and weekends
  • Professional demeanor (safety conscious, quality of job performance, cleanliness, and verbal communications)
  • Able to pass a criminal background check
  • This job can be physically strenuous
  • You will be expected to be able to work in tight and confined spaces
  • You will work at heights
  • You will need the ability to frequently lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds and occasionally more
  • This job will require the ability to ascend/descend ladders
  • You will be required to wear PPE
