About The Position
Heritage Cooperative is seeking a dedicated and customer-service oriented Grain Associate to join our team in Marysville, OH. As a Grain Associate, you will play a crucial role in representing our core values and ensuring that our customers receive superior service. This position requires a proactive approach to work, as you will be involved in various tasks that contribute to the efficient operation of our grain handling facilities. You will be expected to thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating outstanding organizational and time-management skills while maintaining excellent communication with both customers and team members. In this role, you will assist with preventative maintenance on all plant equipment to maximize efficiency and ensure the longevity of our fixed assets. You will be responsible for fulfilling customer orders accurately and in a timely manner, maintaining equipment and facilities in a clean and safe condition, and operating machinery such as forklifts to load out products safely. Additionally, you will run receiving systems and equipment to receive products, abide by all safety regulations, and complete necessary records and reports. The Grain Associate will also conduct vomitoxin tests and grain grading, perform grain settlements, and manage inventory counts and data entry. This position requires a willingness to work extended hours and weekends as needed, as well as the ability to work in various weather conditions.
