About The Position

The Graduation Coach position is designed to provide support to at-risk students in completing their diploma programs. This role involves connecting students with schools and programs that facilitate their progress towards graduation, ensuring they receive the necessary guidance and resources.

Requirements

• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• Proficient oral and written communication skills in English.
• Proficient in the use of computer and Internet-based applications, including email and systems applications.
• Two years of experience in a post-secondary educational program.
• Experience with engaging students with school activities and programs.
• 'Highly Qualified' status required (two years of post-secondary education or an associate's (or higher) degree; or District approved academic assessment).
• Bilingual English/Spanish required (fluency in reading, writing, and speaking two languages as determined by District screening tool).

Responsibilities

• Provide support to students who are at-risk for not completing a diploma program.
• Connect students to schools and programs to support their progress towards graduation.
