About The Position

The University of Texas Permian Basin's Graduate Studies Department welcomes applications for the position of GTA/GRA Graduate Assistant positions are designed primarily to provide support and assist professors in their instructions in assigned departments. In each department assigned duties will vary.

Requirements

• Obtain full admission prior to the start of the assistantship
• Enroll as a full-time graduate student
• Maintain at least a 3.0 graduate GPA
• Must work 19.50 hours per week in assigned area
• Possess good organizational and communication skills (spoken and written) and be punctual, reliable, detail-focused, and committed. Experience with Microsoft Office is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform various day-to-day functions
• Provide assistance
• Adhere to professional standards of work
• Maintain confidentiality of records.
