About The Position
A graduate student worker is sought to support the evaluation of a statewide lung cancer screening program. This position involves active participation in weekly supervision and project team meetings, background research on lung cancer trends, screening programs, and state-specific initiatives, as well as contributions to protocol development, IRB preparation, and qualitative data collection and analysis. The graduate student worker will assist in revising interview guides, creating recruitment materials, scheduling and conducting virtual key informant interviews, and performing thematic analysis of findings. This role provides a hands-on opportunity to apply public health evaluation skills in a real-world context while collaborating with a multi-institutional team committed to improving lung cancer outcomes.
