About The Position

The Graduate Student Research Assistant position in the College of Agriculture and Applied Sciences is designed to provide students with experiential learning opportunities that will help them develop academically and professionally. This role will allow students to explore career fields, pursue graduate studies, and build essential professional skills.

Requirements

• GPA of 2.5 or above
• Maintain a full-time status (12 hours of enrollment)
• Willingness to learn
• Currently enrolled and in good academic standing in either Child Development/Human Development and Family Studies or Food, Nutrition and Community Health Sciences programs in the department of Human Sciences

Responsibilities

• Conduct literature reviews
• Collect and analyze data
• Prepare materials for IRB review
• Attend project and related meetings
• Assist in preparation of research manuscripts, modules and presentations
• Assist with the Child Development Learning Center
• Assist with the Human Sciences Tutoring Services
