About The Position

The Graduate Intern position at ASM Global offers an opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in various departments including Marketing, Sales, Technical Operations, and Sports and Live Events. Interns will engage in departmental tasks and projects, applying their academic knowledge to support operations within a dynamic venue management environment.

Requirements

• Must be eligible for school credit and enrolled as a Graduate level student
• Must be able to commit to a minimum work schedule of 18 hours per week (20-30 hours preferred)
• A minimum education level of a BA/BS Degree (4-year) in related field
• 2 - 4 years of event related work experience preferred
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work assignments in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work cooperatively and professionally with other departments
• Proficient in account management database systems and ability to learn required business systems
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
• Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills
• Highly motivated, with a positive attitude
• Detail oriented and ability to work independently
• Competency with hand tools is preferred
• Ability to multi-task and to be able to work with the public required
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
• Must be able to work indoors and outside

Responsibilities

• Complete department project as assigned by department head
• Assist with ongoing daily administrative tasks
• Support department for event preparation
• Work a variety of stadium events - corporate/private and public ticketed events
• Prepare Word, PowerPoint, and Excel documents
• Track progress, priorities, and deadlines of various projects
• Shadow multiple office positions and train in a variety of tasks
