About The Position
The Graduate Student Instructor (GSI) for ELI 994 at the University of Michigan is responsible for supporting the teaching of a course designed to prepare graduate students for their roles as instructors. This position involves direct interaction with students and course instructors, co-teaching, and providing academic support, all while working approximately 20 hours per week during the semester. The GSI will also engage in pre-course planning and attend necessary meetings, contributing to the overall educational experience of the students enrolled in the course.
