Marketing/Communications (75%) -Supervise student workers in the management of departmental social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, etc.), seeking to increase awareness and benefits of Campus Recreation programs and overall health and wellness; -Maintain accurate data through social media engagement tracking; -Create and implement marketing strategies that utilize social and digital media, printed material and other means of communication; -Enhance communication for current and future student populations through the production of or supervision of production of creative web, video, graphics, social media, print, and electronic media; -Assist in the development of individual area’s marketing materials, as needed; -Assist in the creation and production of departmental publicity materials, including brochures, pamphlets, display/bulletin boards, and other branding pieces; -Assist with other events, publications, and departmental marketing efforts, as needed. -Serve as the Campus Recreation representative at various promotional events (if available), promoting Campus Recreation programs, services, and opportunities available. Project Development (15%) -Provide creative input in the development and implementation of departmental projects; -Work with area directors on various departmental marketing projects. Facility Management/Other (10%) -Assist in opening, closing and evening supervision rotation of Campus Recreation facilities throughout the week; -Other departmental duties, as assigned.
