Performs a variety of invasive radiology procedures for inpatients and outpatients. Provides imaging support while functioning in a sterile environment. This includes Surgical, Neurological, Vascular and Visceral services. Works with state of the art technology and multiple vendor equipment. The Interventional Tech must be effective with communication, clinical skills, and able to work positively in a high stress environment with patients, peers, families and other internal / external personnel. The Interventional Tech is responsible for carrying out the mission and goals of UF Health Shands, assuring that safety remains the highest priority throughout the patients care.
