About The Position

Performs a variety of invasive radiology procedures for inpatients and outpatients. Provides imaging support while functioning in a sterile environment. This includes Surgical, Neurological, Vascular and Visceral services. Works with state of the art technology and multiple vendor equipment. The Interventional Tech must be effective with communication, clinical skills, and able to work positively in a high stress environment with patients, peers, families and other internal / external personnel. The Interventional Tech is responsible for carrying out the mission and goals of UF Health Shands, assuring that safety remains the highest priority throughout the patients care. Requirements

Satisfactory completion of a Radiologic Technology program which has been accredited by an agency accepted by the ARRT.
Radiography Registry confirmation through ARRT.
Must have Radiography registry posted on ARRT website for source verification and must submit State of Florida license application as a Certified Radiologic Technologist within 30 days of receiving ARRT registry.
Promotion to Radiologist Technologist position will occur upon receipt of Florida State License.
