About The Position
The Student Associate will support the Graduate School for the Master's Convocation ceremony. Selection based on review of on-line applications and results of personal interview. Hiring decision contingent upon applicant clearing security background check. This role requires a professional demeanor, a strong customer‑service orientation, and the ability to stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods. The Graduate School is hiring temporary graduate student workers to support convocation ceremonies.
Requirements
- Ability to collaborate with others and follow instructions.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with event entry.
- Helping manage the flow of guests, graduates, and faculty.
- Supporting graduate seating before and during the ceremony.
- Performing other duties as assigned by event supervisors.
