About The Position

Requirements

• Completion of an AMA/CoARC approved Respiratory Care program.
• Associates degree in Science, Allied Health or equivalent.
• Must obtain licensure to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in the State of Michigan within five months.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services throughout the continuum of care under the direction of a registered respiratory therapist.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop optimal cardiopulmonary care plans for patients.
• Perform assessments for uncomplicated patients and evaluate the appropriateness and effectiveness of therapy.
• Conduct therapeutic and rehabilitative procedures and diagnostic tests for patients with or at risk of cardiopulmonary abnormalities.
