Graduate Research Assistant
About The Position
The St. Thomas MSW program is pleased to offer graduate research assistantships for the upcoming academic year (2025-2026). Successful candidates will support faculty in the scholarly activity of the School related to library/literature searches, ï¬eld research, project management, curriculum development, teaching and technology. Specific dutities dependent on hiring faculty. Applicants should indicate any research skills and experience with any of the following in their application materials: online database searches, SPSS, data collection, data analysis, content analysis, presenting research results, etc.
Requirements
- This position is only open to currently enrolled, degree-seeking students in the Master of Social Work program at the University of St. Thomas.
- Actively enrolled at least part-time in courses for credit.

- Computer aptitude and skill
- Comfort with Microsoft Office and Office365
- Experience with Canvas Learning Management System
- Experience with statistical software
- Self-motivation and organizational skills
- Interest in social work research and research methods
