The Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) is seeking a Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) to join the Electro Optical Systems Laboratory (EOSL) within the Photonics and Materials Division (PMD). This position is designed for graduate students pursuing a Master's degree or PhD at Georgia Tech in materials science and engineering (MSE), aerospace engineering (AE), mechanical engineering (ME), electrical and computer engineering (ECE), or a related field. The successful candidate will engage in advanced research and development activities that focus on the creation of new materials and micro-electronic device technologies, specifically for aerospace and national security applications. The role will involve hands-on work with various equipment and technologies, including thin film deposition and heterogeneous material integration and testing. The GRA will be expected to commit to 13-15 hours of work per week during the Spring 2025 semester, contributing to GTRI's research portfolio and supporting ongoing projects in the lab.
