About The Position

The Research Assistant will work at the AI institute under the supervision of the center director and will be responsible for assisting in running and managing ongoing activities organized by the center and research projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• Enrolled at least half-time, 3 credit hours per semester for graduates.
• Maintain a TAMIU overall GPA of 3.0 for graduate students.
• Must meet all other requirements as stated in TAMIU’s Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy (SAPP).

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in AI and Machine learning applications in engineering.
• Data management and data analysis experience.
• Strong computer science and mathematics background.

Responsibilities

• Research and collect data through complex techniques and procedures.
• Assist with data management and perform basic statistical analyses.
• Develop assessment and evaluation tools.
• Other related duties as assigned.
