The University of Iowa’s Tippie College of Business is seeking a Graduate Recruiting Counselor. The successful candidate will have a unique opportunity to be part of a centralized team of recruiting professionals that support the enrollment goals for graduate programs at Tippie. This team utilizes a cutting-edge marketing/sales technology stack and a high-touch customer service model at one of the leading business schools in the world. This position reports to the Assistant Director of Recruiting and supports a team of recruiters by acting as a first point of contact for prospective students. In addition, this position manages recruiting events (on and off campus), updates data in the prospective student Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system for recruitment and admissions and assists as needed in staffing recruiting events. This position is also responsible for cultivating relationships with a portion of the prospective student funnel, assisting prospects through the application process; meeting one-on-one with prospective students; and leading information sessions. This position also plays a key role in lead activation and outreach campaigns. As a key member of the recruiting team, this position will set the tone for every incoming student’s experience and support recruiting’s role of building relationships and moving prospective students further down the recruitment funnel. This position requires occasional night/weekend travel. SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Administrative supervision is received from the Assistant Director of Recruiting.
