The Penn State College of Engineering is seeking to fill a part-time graduate program support position to assist with various administrative duties at the University Park campus. Duties include but are not limited to: Assisting with planning graduate recruitment events Engaging in verbal and written communication with prospective students regarding the application process, campus visits, and application status Preparing acceptance/rejection letters Providing support to the full-time Academic Program Coordinator The position is a part-time, with an average of 20-24 hours per week, and will offer a hybrid work arrangement that combines remote and on-campus working. Applications will be reviewed until the position is filled.

  • Assisting with planning graduate recruitment events
  • Engaging in verbal and written communication with prospective students regarding the application process, campus visits, and application status
  • Preparing acceptance/rejection letters
  • Providing support to the full-time Academic Program Coordinator
  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software packages
  • Excellent organizational, communication (oral and written), and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment, manage multiple priorities, and demonstrate a genuine appreciation in working with different audiences
  • Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.
  • Graduate program experience preferred but not required
