About The Position

Our team focuses on SoC architecture of Arm CPUs and system IP blocks combined in pre-silicon environments. Working closely with design teams, we develop best-in-class silicon platforms across markets such as client, infrastructure, IoT, automotive, and AI accelerators. As a Performance Architecture & PnP Modeling Engineer, you will conduct architectural investigations and PnP tradeoff studies across full SoCs and SoPs across different business segments (IOT, Automotive, Server, Laptop). You will perform use case decomposition and workload characterization to identify system performance bottlenecks and propose solutions. Additionally, you will architect tools for performing performance power thermal studies for the best Perf/W.

Requirements

  • Hold (or are on track to hold) a Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering degree by the target start date.
  • Understanding of general-purpose CPU microarchitecture, including knowledge of processor pipelines, caches, and memory hierarchy.
  • Fundamental understanding of power and performance concepts as they apply to devices like networking IPs, CPUs, and caches.
  • Proficient in ReactJS, C/C++ programming language, and Python scripting language skills.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn how to use unfamiliar tools and systems.
  • Good interpersonal skills with an analytical approach.
