About The Position

Graduate Nurse - Pediatric $6,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment. Under direct supervision, independently uses the nursing process to safely, therapeutically and efficiently care for a group of patients. Uses information from a variety of sources to assess, plan, implement, identify outcomes and evaluate patient's plan of care. The GN serves as an advocate for patients, families and caregivers to enhance the patient experience. New graduates are permitted to perform any function that falls within the scope of nursing practice for which they have received educational preparation and have demonstrated minimal competency. Candidates must reside within commutable distance of the following office location: Texas: Lubbock Must be available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled, based on operational and departmental requirements.

Requirements

  • Candidates must meet the criteria to sit for the NCLEX examination and become licensed in the state of Texas.
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • Upon hire: Texas Registered Nurse License -OR- Texas Graduate Nurse Permit.
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled, based on operational and departmental requirements.
  • Candidates must reside within commutable distance of the following office location: Texas: Lubbock
