About The Position
Are you looking to become an ICU Nurse at Magnet-designated UPMC Harrisburg? Securing a position in the CTICU can be competitive and obtaining experience in a Cardiac Post Surgical Care unit before starting in this department can improve your resume and chance of obtaining a position in an CTICU unit! The Cardiac Post Surgical Care to CTICU track offers a unique opportunity to advance through the various levels of patient care. Candidates on this track will care for our diverse cardiac patient population while gaining experience, skills, and advanced knowledge that will provide a valuable foundation for their nursing career. At around one year, candidates in good standing will be given the opportunity to shadow in the CTICU to explore the option of transitioning to critical care followed by an interview for open positions.
