About The Position
The Graduate Medical Education (GME) Program Specialist provides guidance, instruction and oversight to the assigned residency programs within graduate medical education at the institutional level. This position oversees and supports residency programs to strengthen the performance by ensuring accreditation standards and educational outcomes are met while promoting the organization's strategies and priorities. The GME Program Specialist is responsible for partnering with members of the Graduate Medical Education team to provide technical and operational expertise to ensure resident education is designed and deployed based on organizational strategies, educational and accreditation standards and best practices. The GME Program Specialist supports the standardization and alignment of graduate medical education across the organization.
