Requirements

  • Advanced degree such as a PhD in an applied technical field such as machine learning, computer science, computer engineering, physics, statistics or mathematics is preferred
  • Direct experience in applying deep learning, or alternatively an academic track record of publications in a related domain
  • Approaches data analysis with rigorous thought processes and strong intuition
  • Is a creative thinker who is driven and eager to solve challenging problems collaboratively
  • Proficiency in a programming language (Python, C, C++, etc) is highly desired
  • Ability to commence full-time employment in February or August 2026

Responsibilities

  • Develop and evaluate machine learning models tailored to real trading environments
  • Apply rigorous statistical techniques to measure performance, control overfitting, and understand model risk and interpretability
  • Design models based upon trading ideas, implement and deploy these models into production
  • Maintain best practices to keep our systems logical and consistent

Benefits

  • Base salary is only one component of total compensation; all full-time, permanent positions are eligible for a discretionary bonus and benefits, including paid leave and insurance.
